Putu cake (from the Java language, Puthu [IPA: / puʈu /]) is a type of Indonesian food such as cakes that contain palm sugar and grated coconut, rice flour coarse. Ingredients

  • 300 ml water

How to Make

  1. Boil water, salt, pandan leaf.
  2. Enter the rice flour in a container, pour the warm pandan water while knitting by hand until smooth grains.
  3. Use a sieve with large holes, to shape the dough in fine grains.
  4. Put half a tablespoon flour dough in a bamboo pipe, then insert a teaspoon brown sugar, cover with half a tablespoon rice flour dough (do not press).
  5. (For filling easy, you can use a pandan or banana leaf to cover the bottom of the bamboo pipe)
  6. Put the bamboo pipe on the pan and steam for 10 minutes over high heat.
  7. Take out and cover it with the sprinkles.
  8. Remove from mold and serve warm with extra grated coconut
